Hey guys, I don’t know if anyone else is having this issue, but if you reblog a post and start the reblog with “…” then it won’t show up on a person’s activity page. Or at least, on mine.
I’ve caught at least three reblogs in the past two days that start with ellipses that show up in the notes on the post itself but not in the activity page. Just a pro tip from me to you on this site of many ineffable mysteries.
TL;DR: If you use dot dot dot it won’t appear on their dash dash dash.
I did a group project in college once which was some 10 page analytical paper and it was me and another kid from Korea and when I started to form a plan to tackle it he put up his hand and said “no no; only me.” and then he proceeded to do the whole paper himself and got us an A.
“okay who wants to write?”
(the entire group looks at me)
oh i did that a wrote a three page story by myself because my friend forced me too and then she yelled at me for not writitng it in a way she liked 😀
Hot tip: if someone in your group does zero work because they’re being a jerk, don’t put their name on it.
But…. they might get in trouble…
Their fault. Not my problem. Should have done their work. The teacher will give them a zero on the project. It’s what they deserve.
