IDK my reaction still wouldn’t be to grab my AR-15, immediately blow up his house, run outside and kill every kid in the neighborhood, then flee to another state to join the Proud Boys.

I wouldn’t go, “This is a sign that I get to torture and murder hundreds of people.”

It wouldn’t make me feel like keeping human ashes in my bedroom was a chill design element.

It might make me angry at my parents, but I wouldn’t murder my dad over it. Especially if he were trying to apologize and make sure I knew I was still loved and welcome home.

My reaction wouldn’t be to punish the women and people of color in my life and dedicate the next six years to political and militia causes that have the sole goal of oppressing them, if not outright killing them off.

I feel like I’d probably just call the cops and my parents.

OP really skipped the part where Ben Solo planned a school shooting that included murdering his “Cool Uncle” and all his students in order to impress the Nazi he met online and absolutely intended to go through with it, and Cool Uncle Luke found out about it and that’s why he was “standing over his bed with a shotgun,” a decision that Luke was too good a person to go through with, unlike Kylo, who thought, “welp, I’m caught, now or never, better start mass-murdering before anyone else finds out!”

A better way to view this post would be “imagine you agree to help your sister out by letting her asshole 23-year-old son who’s been spending all of his time on /pol/ and stormfront be a counselor at the summer camp you own to try and give him some positive influences, only to find out he’s been using you to gain access to a bunch of children who he is absolutely going to murder unless someone physically forces him not to, because that’s what happened to Luke Skywalker.”
