Some fun Korra production tidbits from Bryan Konietzko’s instagram!

“On Avatar, when we worked on paper, I had a physical ink stamp with my name on it that I would use to approve designs. On Korra, we worked digitally, but the design process was extra complicated, with assets being generated in Burbank as well as in Seoul and/or Tokyo. So I came up with these digital stamps to convey what stage a particular design was at in the process, and what it needed to move forward. Even though these were for the Korra production, I used good ol’ Aang’s noggin for the bulk of them. […] I used the amazing @kihyunryu model sheet drawings for the yellow stamps on the third page here.”
