There seem to be a lot of people who think that political instability in Africa is justification for discriminating against people with darker skin.

Slavs can’t keep their shit together for five minutes without dragging Europe into another war, but that does not mean they are a fallen race who are incapable of living peaceful lives.
North Korea is an absolute shithole, but anyone who wanted to argue that this is due to the genetics of Korean people would need to overlook South Korea.
Political institutions trump culture which trumps race. This isn’t hard.
I kind of want to be offended by the thing about Slav, but it’s kinda true…
That’s just it, you can’t take offense at someone pointing out historical fuck-ups, because hey they really did happen. But at the same time, it’s crazy to think that failed institutions have some kind of genetic basis, when we see them go from success to failure and back to success again in less than a generation!
Much more sense to focus on ideology, institutions, economic factors, stuff that can actually cause problems and solve problems.
