croma headcanons?

alliope:

THANK YOU ANON!!! I need to bash my skull through writers block so hopefully putting down some head canons for the otp will help me get thinking!

1. Crona is Ridiculously ticklish and there are no real downsides to Maka tickling them, since it usually ends in cuddles or kissing

2. Crona learns how to make a lot of herbal teas from spending time with Marie. When Maka is stressing over a test or mission, they’ll be sure to make her a cup of something nice to calm her down (highkey inspired by an au of clara-bear’s)

3. They go on a lot of dates to the park and the woods. It’s quiet and private, there’s no one around to stress Crona out. They eventually learn how to braid hair in various ways and will sometimes braid flowers into Maka’s hair. They think she looks absolutely stunning while covered with the colors of wildflowers (not that she isn’t already stunning)

4. Maka has some self esteem issues. She doesn’t hate how she looks, but she sees herself as very painfully average or even below average, especially when surrounded by people like Tsubaki and Liz, who she views as absolutely beautiful. It’s definitely not made any better by her friends jokes and jabs at her physical appearance or Blair’s well-intentioned, but misguided attempts to “help.” She doesn’t really think her looks will ever stand out to someone and it doesn’t grate on her or anything, but it’s a bit of a sore spot. But then Crona comes along and looks at her like she’s the most beautiful person to ever stand on this earth and she doesn’t really know how to accept it for awhile. At first she plays it off as her being their first friend and the first person to show them kindness. Of course they’d be biased towards her. But it never really fades like she expects it to and every time she questions Crona about it or disagrees with them, they can come up with a million beautiful things about her and say it with such absolute certainty that Maka almost has to believe them. Crona talks about Maka as though she’s something angelic and almost otherworldly beautiful and Maka is reeling because no one has ever said that kind of stuff to her, she never expected that anyone would say that kind of stuff to her. And Crona absolutely means every word of it. Crona doesn’t see some an idealized version of Maka, they see her and they absolutely adore who she is. And eventually, Maka can start to see herself the way Crona sees her.

5. Crona Gorgon has never liked their name, but with a few adjustments, they think it might work. In their opinion, Crona Albarn has a much nicer sound to it.

6. Crona’s blood is literally leaden and heavy, they weigh a ton despite being so scrawny, but Maka will still absolutely dip them in the hallways or at home because a) they’re too tall to kiss properly and b) she has the raw strength to do it

7. Maka has written things about Crona before. As she was starting to realize and having to cope with her feelings for them, she remembered what she’d told Crona about using poetry to express their feelings. So she sat down with an old journal and wrote poem after poem about Crona, about her feelings for them. They don’t know she wrote it and she’s not sure whether she wants to show it all to them.

8. Maka knows a lot of little nooks and hiding places throughout the school where she used to hide out and read. She shows them to Crona initially as a place to calm down if they need it, but recently they have been using them as a place to cuddle or smooch if they need to get away from the world

9. Maka does not skip class. It takes something serious for her to abandon her studies, that it, unless Crona is involved. If Crona has something going on and can’t be in class, Maka is absolutely with them, helping and supporting however she can.

I hope these were good!!
