Today in my city a very important bridge collapsed. After I made the most sincere condolences to the relatives and the friends of the victims, I want to say that I think this tragedy is actually a murder: when this bridge was built, they said that it would last 50 years. Now it’s 51 years old, it always seemed old and dangerous, but there hasn’t been the maintenance it needed. So it is not a misfortune due to the lightning that hit the bridge, but a tragedy caused by a set of things.
