why did we, as a society, forget about big hero 6 and the princess and the frog

You know why

Shit u right

Except this is a pretty common trend with most of the modern Disney films? Everyone has also forgotten about Tangled, and Brave, and Wreck-It Ralph, and Inside Out too, and all of these were wonderful films.

I think it’s more down to Disney just making their films differently to how they used to, and also them not have the nostalgia factor. They don’t stick with us like our old childhood classics.

Two other explanations

A. We haven’t forgotten about them we just don’t feel a need to talk about them. And that’s kind of true of the older ones too. I mean how often do Disney films really get brought up in conversation.

B. Maybe kids are watching less Tv now a days cause they have Internet so they’re more easily forgotten. I mean when I was a kid cartoons were my main time waster and that included the Disney movies. I had to sneak onto the computer when my parents weren’t home to do things like Neopets. I’m not sure that’s the case now a days.

Also counterpoint to the race thing, people still talk about Aladdin, people still talk about Mulan ,people still talk about Lilo and Stitch, admittedly we don’t talk about Pocahontas because it’s not a good movie.

People also don’t tend to talk about 101 Dalmatians, the Aristocrats, the Rescuers (both of them), the Great Mouse Detective, Oliver and Company, the Sword in the Stone or any of the really old musical Disney movies and those all either had animals or white people. And then there’s all the Disney straight to DVD sequels that no one talks about.

Just saying there are many cases where race is a factor, I don’t think this is one of them (or at least not a major factor/the only factor, might be a mild factor).
